A vision gives you direction, creativity and resilience. Without one, it is easy to become passive, aimless, and vulnerable to quitting. God give us a vision. His desires can become your desires. It is important to have visions; dedicate time and energy to it; and learn how to overcome obstacles as the Lord empowers you.
Do you remember Joseph? As a young boy God put a dream in his heart. He was born to rule. When he told his brothers, they got jealous. But that didn't change God's plan for him, not did it steal the vision from Joseph's heart. His life was full of setbacks, but at the end of the day, he ruled the world, and was second only to Pharaoh in a critical time of mankind's history. God used him to provide food for people in time of famine. God also used him to make "his boss" very wealthy.
When you asked God for a vision, you're likely to be placed in a field of opportunities concealed under hectares of obstacles. But don't fret. The vision He puts in your heart will surely come to pass.
"Where there ie no vision, the people perish." Proverbs 29:18
"For the vision will surely come." Habbakuk 2:3
