My Place Becoming More A Home!

Now with my new job, I have been able to start getting things to make my new place more a home. This is the first month I had power on at my place. And this week a got air conditioner and a propane tank. I found the 6500 BTU air conditioner at the Council On Aging Thrift Store in town for $70. It works great and my trailer is a lot cooler now. The propane tank is for the gas stove. I will still be eating most meals at my mom's house.

I have been spending most of this week cleaning around my place. I feel like I have a new bathroom after I cleaned it. Having light to see really helped me see where I needed to clean the most. The people who rented before me had a cat. It looks like they had its liter box in the bathroom. After wiping everything down with bleach and Pine-Sol the whole place looks and swells better.

I am trying to move everything out of my storage over to my house. Save some money there. I doing it piece by piece so I can put things where I want them as I go. It is slowly turn into the place I want to live in.

With God all Things are Possible

"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37

It has been a long time since I posted something on our blog. Now, this is the perfect time to start sharing again God’s faithfulness to everyone.

I want to share with you an inspiring story of a man with no arms and legs. Just try to put yourself in the position of this guy; can you imagine yourself doing everything without limbs? It is impossible but with God all things are possible.

Watch this video and be inspired.

We can compare our life to a wheel, sometimes you are on top and sometimes you are at the bottom. It is full of ups and downs. There are times when we are at the bottom and encountering a lot of struggles in our life, which is also the start when we lose our hope and want to give up.

Nick Vujicic, is a man with no arms and legs but he never give up. He experienced bitter things when he was a child because of his disability but he looked at it as a challenge and turn bitter to better. He said if you fail 100 times; try again and again and again. He is a living testimony to everyone of us, with his faith to God no matter how impossible he can make it possible. He never gives up but keep his faith to God that he can do anything through Christ who strengthens him.

Being Positive At Work!

This week at work the things my co-workers said to me the most was how positive I am about my work. First of all, I am glad to have a job. Then like everyone else there I rather be doing somethings else but they do pay me to be at work. Besides, if I was not at work I would be just wasting time at home and not making money. If you have to be somewhere why make it harder by complaining about it. I do enjoy my job and work with a great group of people at the warehouse. My job is a way God is using to provide for my needs and soon a way to be able to get Jo Anne here to the United States.

I have made an effort to be more positive about my job then I have with my past jobs. Work is a blessing from God. It is a form of worship, so we should do the best work we can at our jobs.
There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, ~ Ecclesiastes 2:24 (ESV)

If you have a job I encourage you to try to look at the positive things about your job. If you are unemployed like I was not to long ago please keep up the faith that you will find work soon.

Update: Sorry It's Been So Long!

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. This is the first time that I have had to write something on here in a while. I am using a friends computer to do this post. I hope next time will not be so long. I would like to thank my followers who have stayed followers during this time of change.

Okay, now on with the update. First, I got a new job and a new place to live. Soon I will be start the Visa process to get Jo Anne here to the United States. I hope to get a new computer soon, too. When that happens I should be back to posting more regularly.

I am working at warehouse for a electrical equipment company. I enjoy the job and work with a great group of people.

Back in March, I found a place to rent. It is not much but will a little work I can make it more like a home. The new job will help. I will stay here until I can get enough money saved for a better place.

Jo Anne and I are still talking everyday. In July, we will start the process for her Visa and I promise I will post updates here as things move a long with that. We are hoping to be together at Christmas this year. Christmas in the Philippines sounds great to me.

Okay, I have to go and finish checking e-mail and other things now. I have not forgotten you guys. Hope to post more soon.
