Overcoming the Storm

When we talked about storm, we think of thunderstorms or snowstorms. Sometimes in our lives we are facing this kind of storms and standing in the midst is really hard. For those who regularly visited our blog, you guys knew that Daniel and I were engaged for more than a year now. In our relationship, we have been through a lot of trials and we thank God for the strength He gave us. Now, we are facing another storm and I can say this is one of the hardest trials we had. It took him a little longer before he found a good job. It’s hard to be apart from someone you love, we long so much to be together and we planned to start the paperwork for my visa once he started working again. We thought that everything will turn out good now that he had a good job, but things get worst than what we expect. Our heart break into pieces when we heard the bad news that we cannot work on the fiancĂ© visa for some private reason, We can’t explain what we felt because it is more than a physical pain. We both cried when we talked on the phone and trying to think some way we can do in order for us to be together. We have a lot of fears and worries but we thank God for His love that continuously comfort us and bind us together. We are blessed to have our prayer time everyday, it help us a lot and serve as the key why we are still standing firm in the midst of this storm. We keep holding on to God’s promises and we know that everything is under His control. We are thankful for those people who are helping us to find someone who could be my sponsor. God is good and we know that He is working for us and He can make impossible things possible. To all our friends who keep praying for us, thank you very much and please continue to pray for us that we may overcome the storms in our lives.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him." Psalm 62:5
