I had a very different experience at the fast food restaurants in the Philippines then here in the United States. Some of the fast food restaurants are know to people from the United States line McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell and Wendy's. The fast food restaurant I like the best was Jollibee. Jollibee is based in the Philippines and is the largest fast food chain in the world. Jollibee is only has stores in three states: California, Nevada, and New York.
Most of the menu is the some with a couple different items. The fast food restaurants offer rice instead of fries, although fries are available. A long with burgers, you can order fried chicken and spaghetti. Your drinks are one time drink. You pay extra for free refills. I even had a hamburger with a egg on it.
If you dine in at the restaurants your food is served on real dishes, not paper. When you are finished with your meal you just leave the trash on the table. The dinning room attendant will clean the tables. The trash is sorted by if it is recyclable, biodegradable, or non-biodegradable. When you can find trash cans in the Philippines, at least the few that I saw are setup to sort trash by these three categories. Recycling seems to be a lot harder in the United States. It is harder to locate place to recycle things then it was a few years ago.
If they do not have you hole order ready in a few minutes, they will being you order to your table. At least, Jollibee will offer you a free newspaper to read.
